St. Agatha’s Catholic Primary school is a two form entry Catholic Academy school, with a Nursery, providing outstanding education to approximately 500 children. We cater mainly, but not exclusively, for Catholic families and their children from the age of three to eleven.
St Agatha's Catholic Primary school became an Academy in February 2012. The school originally opened in
1895 in a small building which still stands next to St. Agatha’s Church. In 1976 the school moved to the current site.
At St. Agatha’s we recognise that your child is uniquely gifted by God and has special gifts and needs. We try to support those needs by emphasising the partnership between home, school and church.
